  • Creating Roma Youth Network

In January 2010 we organized a partnership-building seminar in Kraków / Poland, aiming to develop an international Roma youth network. 19 participants representing different Roma organizations from  Albania, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Spain and Poland dedicated themselves to create the international network ternYpe. The project aimed to develop a common ground, a strategy and tools. In working groups and plenum discussions we decided on a common mission and steps for future cooperation. The project was a great success and a direct follow-up was the international training-course “Stop it 2 start it! Training-course on creative campaigning” in April 2010 in Spain.

  • Art Workshops

Between September and December 2009 we facilitated several art workshops for Roma and non-Roma children in the polish villages Czarna Gora and Maruszyna. Under the guidance of two professional artists the children worked individually on different painting methods. The children were taught basic art theory and to observe the environment carefully. The children participated in various different competitions and visited a professional art exhibition. The workshop ended with a celebration and an open exhibition of the children’s paintings.

The project involved young Roma and non – Roma children in common activities bringing the children closer to each other.
